Fast becoming Vancouver & British Columbia’s must-have experience for new moms, The MotherFlock is coming to Kelowna! Our 5/6 week long postpartum group is the baby group with a difference: it’s all about Mom. A chance for you to relax, find community, share experiences, learn about resources & self-care tips, and build friendships. Essentially, come out with your own little mom crew, feeling empowered, and ready to rock this whole mom thing!

Hi, I’m Kathleen
I am a professional birth doula, childbirth educator, and approved placenta encapsulation provider. I recognize that we live, learn and work on the traditional unceded territory of the Syilx/Okanagan people in Kelowna, BC. I acknowledge that I serve families on this land.
I have worked in birth for over a decade and a half and my experience in birth includes hundreds of births in all models of care.
I became passionate about supporting the process of the birth after the birth of my first baby. This passion led me to doula support with the desire to offer knowledge and an understanding of choices both during and after birth. My work as a birth doula was really founded on the desire to work with women and families in achieving informed and empowering births as you define it.

A Better Birth
Kelowna’s most popular prenatal class. Learn all you need to know to be empowered for your upcoming birth and postpartum. Our prenatal classes cover partner support and choices that will allow you to gain confidence in this process. Fun and interactive, prepare for your upcoming birth and parenting transition.
Kelowna General Hospital Tour
Join our tour of Kelowna General Hospital maternity unit. The hospital tour for expecting moms and partners includes information for arrival, parking location of labour & delivery and a detailed look at both the labour & delivery rooms and the postpartum rooms where you will stay once your baby is born.
Baby + Me Yoga
Baby + Me Yoga is a gentle, supportive class designed for postpartum moms and their babies, appropriate from about 6 weeks after birth
Prenatal Yoga
Take time to connect with your body and baby in a grounding and strengthening 60 minute prenatal yoga class. During prenatal yoga, you will work towards calming your mind and strengthening your body while preparing yourself for birth and motherhood.
Mom Hub
A monthly mom’s group where we gather to talk about all things prenatal and postpartum. A beautiful way to connect in shared experiences. Bring your babies.
