This class is designed to empower every new parent with all the tools and tricks needed to care for your baby with confidence. We will learn, practice in a hands-on, and safe space. Meet other expecting parents and have fun.
What We Cover
Learn all you need to know and discover about you newborn. With hands-on practice we explore what to expect for you and for your baby during the first twelve weeks together.
Each couple receives a valuable binder full of information and resources, covering all aspects of knowing your baby.
You will also have access to your instructor for any extra questions or requests.
Our classes fill quickly. Early registration is recommended.

Hi, I’m Kathleen
I am a professional birth doula, childbirth educator, and approved placenta encapsulation provider. I recognize that we live, learn and work on the traditional unceded territory of the Syilx/Okanagan people in Kelowna, BC. I acknowledge that I serve families on this land.
I have worked in birth for over a decade and a half and my experience in birth includes hundreds of births in all models of care.
I became passionate about supporting the process of the birth after the birth of my first baby. This passion led me to doula support with the desire to offer knowledge and an understanding of choices both during and after birth. My work as a birth doula was really founded on the desire to work with women and families in achieving informed and empowering births as you define it.

Our prenatal classes cover partner support and choices that will allow you to gain confidence in this process. Fun and interactive, prepare for your upcoming birth and parenting transition.
Kelowna General Hospital Tour
Join our tour of Kelowna General Hospital maternity unit. The hospital tour for expecting moms and partners includes information for arrival, parking location of labour & delivery and a detailed look at both the labour & delivery rooms and the postpartum rooms where you will stay once your baby is born.
Mom and Baby Yoga
Care for your own physical and mental health without leaving your baby behind. Mom and Baby Yoga is an all-levels yoga series and allows a way to meet new moms in community and in birth recovery.
Prenatal Yoga
Take time to connect with your body and baby in a grounding and strengthening 60 minute prenatal yoga class. During prenatal yoga, you will work towards calming your mind and strengthening your body while preparing yourself for birth and motherhood.
Mom Hub
A monthly mom’s group where we gather to talk about all things prenatal and postpartum. A beautiful way to connect in shared experiences. Bring your babies and your toddlers (of course!)
